Safe Kids Car Seat Checks

Carthage's 6th annual Mudstock was great.  600+ atteneded!

What is Mudstock? 
In a word, "fun".  Obviously mud is involved, but there is an obstacle course with rope swings into mud pits, mud hills, low rope obstacles, and more!

Thanks to everyone for your support.  Looking forward to Mudstock 2010!

 9th annual Festival of Friends September 19th!!!!

The 9th annual Festival of Friends is being held on September 19th, from 3 to 7 pm at Carthage Central Park with free admission to the public.

Come celebrate diversity in your community with cultural foods, activities for children, and live entertainment.

FREE program for parents of 9-14 year olds
Guiding Good Choices is a five week program, that teaches parents how to support their children in making smart decisions, like staying drug-free.  Childcare will be provided.  Class is offered in both English and Spanish.

Child-Parent Relationship Training
This class will help you:
-Regain control as a parent
-Help your child develop self-control
-Effectively disciplining and limiting inappropriate behavior
-Understand your child's emotional needs
-Communicate more effectively with our child
